[Felvtalk] Life Gold and Nu-Pet Feline Antioxidant

Lycine is supposed to suppress, not eliminate, reproduction of the virus. Apparently it has been in use for decades. It is an amino acid, so not harmful. Googling just now I found a study that says it does not work. Nevertheless, I am going to use it to try and protect my other cats. Destiny's infection was never cultured, so might not be Herpe's anyway. Antibiotic seems to not be working either. I am feeding cat food with a syringe and she is going to the vet today for a consult on using steroids and Zander's Protocol.

May I ask – what is lycine that was mentioned for use in water dishes (not that Topaz drinks out of dishes! But Peekers does.)

Thank you,

Ardy
