I suspect the rotisserie chicken would be very similar to the Swiss Chalet.

Back in the 70-80's, there was at leat one Swiss Chalet in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I loved it, both chicken and ribs. Looks as if the last one in the US closed in 2010.

I also have good luck with supermarket rotisserie chicken. No idea why :(

>I can't even begin to hypothesize why cats seem to like "fast food" chicken. I found that the KFC is really aromatic, so it encourages my sick cats to eat when they aren’t feeling well. With the first cat I used it with (who had pancreatic cancer), she had no appetite. I would cut up the chicken, put it in the plate, warm it in the microwave, and place it before her on the floor. If she wouldn’t eat, I would lie down on the floor on the opposite side of the plate and blow over the chicken gently, to get the smell into my cat's nostrils. After a few minutes, she would eat.
