[Felvtalk] Availability of Winstrol

At the risk of really sounding like a snake oil salesman, I am going to again suggest you try Winstrol with your cats.

I had a cat I adopted from a feral colony, and when I picked her up she was very very sick. The woman I picked her up from, clearly had a bunch of cats from the same shelter, all very ill with something. One of the cats I met at her home was so adorable but she said he wasn’t eating and seemed to have a sore abdomen and hadn’t been eating and she didn’t know what was wrong. I learned he died the next day and she had tests run and they came back FIV positive. I was already half-expecting it because the woman had told me that many kittens from that colony would seem fine at first, then their bellies would blow up, and they would suddenly die.

The little girl I brought home got progressively and dramatically worse. She was so very very hot (extremely high temperature), her abdomen was round and felt odd and she had a very congested-sounding chest. Her eyes were running and she was so incredibly sick. Nothing was helping. I tried antibiotics, and a bunch of other things. There was no improvement for days. I took her to the vets and they did a chest xray and there was no fluid IN the lungs – it was around the lungs. Nothing they tried helped either. I finally decided, what the hell, and gave her Winstrol, and I got a very good result. Within days, started eating, her temperature dropped back to normal, and she began to interact with me, rather than just lie on the couch next to me – basically immobile. Though I have never had her tested, I believe she had FIV and I believe that the Winstrol helped.

When I find that the vets tell that they have no ideas or suggestions, and the condition is hopeless or incurable, I figure the worst case scenario is that the Winstrol doesn’t help. I keep getting good results instead.

I don’t think the vets have too much to offer for cats with FIV, just like FeLV cats. If they give you no other options, consider trying Winstrol.

Both of my babies have FIV, both adopted from shelter. Does anyone know of a support group I can join to better helpe to help keep my little one healthy as Iong as possible? I know very little about FIV and this group doesn't address their issues directly. Thank you for any help and/or advice!!!

I live in Milwaukee and know several good holistic vets
Dr Heidi Meier out of Community Vet Clinic
and Dr. Ali Troutman, I think her clinic is Integrated Vet Clinic
Both are nice vets--I like them both
I use Dr Meier for foster care
and I have been to Dr Ali for several of my own very sick animals. Both are sweet vets.
