I gave it a try and can’t say that I noticed any improvement. I doubt very much if any positive cat was made negative by using it. When I first started checking it out I heard that Best Friends gave all the cats in their FeLV+ unit a shot of it every month. I emailed them to find out why they did this. Finally got an answer from there in-house vet. They do it because that was what was being done when that vet was hired. I think it is like a lot of other immune boosters, might work and might not, depends on the cat and the problem. Can’t see that it would do any harm.

You don’t need a prescription to buy it and you can find it online much cheaper than $25 a shot.

Hi all -- There is a vet telling me she once saw a feLV positive cat become negative after a round of Immunoreglin. They gave the cat two shots a week for a month, then one shot a week for another month.

Anyone have any experience with this stuff?

I have (had) two feLV cats, a brother and a sister. The little girl died this past weekend despite all my efforts at keeping her immune system as strong as I could. The little boy (Stitch) is much stronger and larger than his sister...but maybe that doesn't mean much.

I've been to many crappy vets and I'm worried this one may be just telling me what I want to hear. My regular vet (I trust her) is pretty iffy on the Immunoreglin, saying there's not enough evidence on it yet. I may be grasping at straws here.

The shots would be $25 apiece...not bad as far as I can tell. Maybe it's worth a try?

Would love to hear what people on this list think. Thanks.

~ Joanna
